oh yeah . . . i hit the curb this morning. and you know . . . you hit the curb . . . what could happen? i do it all the time (on accident of course) BUT this time . . . my hubcap was magically pushed underneath that metal part of the inner edge of the actual tire (hard to explain) and the tire tore on the outside (kind of like cheese through a slicer). i don't know how in the world it happened. showing off the engineer within her, my sister tried to explain the physics to me. i'm still lost. i was just really embarrassed that it even happened. this really sweet guy (not to mention hot . . . but who was really looking?) offered some help and laughed at me a little. it's all gravy though. that was during my shock-phase. i still went to class. lol.

when we made it home, i tried to *fix* it myself . . . lol. after about ten minutes i decided to call the dealership and see if the tires were covered in my three year warranty . . . of course it's a no. then i called all of these places to see if they even carried my tires and yeah . . . many more no's to the list.

stressful . . . but in the end i payed roughly $122 overall and even received a three year warranty on all of my tires because my mileage was so low. my sister thinks we got such a great deal bc we're so damn sexy. jk :o)
