Incoming Freshman
dude . . . there's so many of them running around campus. some of them are here for the flute camp (i saw Kim by the way . . . YAY!) and some orchestra camp and PREP, but you can tell which ones those are. they're really tiny and don't try to act like they're in college. the incoming freshman are just "fun" to watch. it makes me wonder if i was like that when i first went to orientation.
me and GreenSqrd noticed some basic trends where you can always pick them out:
1. walk five feet behind their parents
2. walk like they know where they're going even though "everyone else" knows there's nothing worthwhile down there
3. dress up and/or where a lot of makeup to "look older and more responsible"
4. hold their bf/gf hand
number 4 is the one that i REALLY don't see. that's just really bizarre. i have a theory that couples don't hold hands bc they secretly want people to think they're available if the person doing the looking is hot, but if the person doing the looking is not hot, then they can always fall back and say "well i have a bf". it's just a thing of keeping options open. this probably contributes to the players being able to carry so many "interests" and stuff.
