Summer Classes

why am i taking summer classes? i don't have this thing called a "vacation" that everyone speaks of and you know what??? . . . IT SUCKS!!! three hour classes every weekday for three weeks and then the real stuff kicks in. BUT i am avoiding the mad crazy costs that will be in effect because of Tuition Deregulation crap (people CALL you representatives . . . it literally takes two minutes). the HB 3015(?) already went through. that was the major one that raises next semester up to 22 dollar per credit hour and in Fall 2004 it looks like another 22 dollars and after that . . . guess what??? they can put the price where ever they want. and ya know what else? they are APPOINTED not elected . . . you tell me what's gonna happen. they're are trying to make us look like private universities and we can't afford that . . . not right now, and not in the long run. financial aid stays the same . . . they don't make exceptions for Texas public school students. and the ones most hurt will be the middle class. our middle class is already shrinking and i guess they see no problem with it all, but yeah . . .

anyway, nothing's goin on in the House right now . . . which could be a good thing. i support the Democrats (even though i'm not "really" a Democrat). give them a call and say how you feel. whether it is for or against. Texas needs to have more of a politically active community period. yeah . . . i think that's what's getting to me. the ignorance and lack of activity by everyone in general. yep . . . that's gotta be it . . . i hate when i go through moments like these. i'll calm down. in a little bit. i could just be mad bc of issues with my bf too . . . yes. everything is not well today.
